We get it. You’ve just hiked up to the famous Machu Picchu Citadel, and you want to claim the bragging rights. You see a local offering to put an ‘entrance stamp’ in your passport. Cool, right?

Think again. Your passport is an official legal document and should not be tampered with under any circumstances. In fact, you don’t actually own your passport, your government does.

While novelty stamps are often overlooked by immigration officials, for some countries they’re a big no-no. If you have stamps like these in your passport, please get in touch with us directly.
